Frieze Los Angeles returned to Beverly Hills in February. The venue is a work of art itself, located in a “bespoke structure” designed by WHY Architecture. More than 100 galleries exhibited this year, and Frieze Projects hosted a number of large-scale works around the fair, including a white marble sculpture by Alma Allen and a street sign by Mel Bochner (because it wouldn’t be L.A. without the traffic).
