About ArtDesk

ArtDesk is quarterly print magazine that is devoted to contemporary art, performances, and thought. We inform by focusing on regional and national events, exhibitions, and education, promoting creative literacy and art appreciation. Published by Kirkpatrick Foundation and completely free, subscribers can have every issue delivered straight to their doorstep.

The idea of ArtDesk was conceived in 2012 during a conversation on a park bench in Marfa, Texas. The first iteration, a bi-annual magazine sold on newsstands, launched in 2013. Now, the magazine is published quarterly, printing 83,000 copies per issue and distributing them at locations for free across Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and New Mexico. Issues are mailed to subscribers across the world.

ArtDesk Conversations is a live interactive programming that features engaging dialogues and events with the artists, patrons, and great thinkers of our time.
