OKLAHOMA CONTEMPORARY ARTS CENTER will begin the new year with a grand opening. Executive director Eddie Walker says the building and the inaugural exhibition will open in January, as final touches are being made. Located at Northwest Eleventh and Broadway in Oklahoma City, the 4.6-acre campus—designed by Rand Elliott Architects and built by Smith & Pickel Construction—will feature “a full slate of interactive, innovative programs that will encourage visitors to experience contemporary art, culture, and creativity in ways brand new to Oklahoma City,” Walker says.
