LAST OCTOBER, THE Ent Center for the Arts announced David Siegel would be its new executive director. He officially stepped into the role in January 2022, bringing a community-driven brand of arts advocacy to the stunning visual-and-performing-arts exhibition space and education center at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs.
“I believe we create art to make people feel things. My job is creating opportunities for students and the community to have emotional experiences through the arts — whether as a performer through classes and extracurricular activities, or as a community member coming to campus,” Siegel says. “It’s my job to till the soil to create fertile ground for these experiences.”
