On March 20, 2025, Oklahoma City Beautiful had its fortieth Annual Distinguished Service Awards Luncheon to recognize organizations and individuals who have worked to make Oklahoma City a more beautiful and sustainable community, particularly through education, collaboration, and advocacy. The event celebrated seven outstanding honorees—including ArtDesk publisher Christian Keesee—for their work in inspiring and creating a more beautiful Oklahoma City. Honoree projects included composting and water-reuse programs, recyclable waste in interior design, community gardening, environmental advocacy, and beautification through the arts.
