Tree Time

April showers brought May flowers and multiple events celebrating Arbor Day. At Red Ridge Nature Preserve, dozens gathered to plant trees, aiding in the protection and preservation of the plants and wildlife within the habitat. At Park House, guests celebrated George Washington and the United States Semiquincentennial and took a walk through the sculpture Cloud City by Tomás Saraceno. Mollie Spencer Farm hosted a nature walk and tree talk with the Oklahoma Department of Forestry, and guests visited farm animals in the petting farm and the new aviary. Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center visitors built and painted birdhouses at the Campbell Art Park.
