First Fête

Capital campaign donors gathered in early March for the first official event held inside the new Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. The “First Look and Thank You Dinner” offered a glimpse of the opening exhibition, Bright Golden Haze. Oklahoma Contemporary founder and Kirkpatrick Foundation chairman (and publisher of ArtDesk) Christian Keesee christened the evening in the Te Ata Theater with welcoming remarks about the exciting future of contemporary arts in Oklahoma. At dinner, Jane Jayroe served as emcee and the Oklahoma City University Chamber Choir performed.
