Ruscha’s Return

In the midst of his first-ever solo show in his home state, Ed Ruscha: OKLA, artist Ed Ruscha was celebrated with an intimate dinner on June 17, 2021, at Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center, a date deemed by Oklahoma City's mayor as Ed Ruscha Day. During the panel with curators Alexandra Schwartz and Jeremiah Matthew Davis, Ruscha discussed the evolution of his work and the city's influence upon it.
