Mornings with Friends at the Mollie Spencer Farm

Fall and winter garden prep was the topic during the September 23, 2023, edition of the Morning Conversation Series at the Mollie Spencer Farm in Yukon, Oklahoma. Featuring three short presentations and discussions, the illuminating “mini conversations” at the historic homestead established in 1894 focused on composting, fall vegetable gardening, and getting outdoor spaces ready for the colder months. Speakers included Amanda Scofield, board member of the Oklahoma Compost and Sustainability Association, Canadian County Master Gardener Carolyn Balson, and Brian Dougherty, licensed landscape architect and former director of Parks and Public Spaces at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
