Friend Zone

Friends of the Upper East Side, one of New York’s leading preservation organizations for more than forty years, honored Christian Keesee and Larry Keigwin with the 2025 Ambassador of the Upper East Side award during a fundraising dinner on September 30, 2025, at the Metropolitan Club. Keesee, chairman of Kirkpatrick Foundation and publisher of ArtDesk magazine, and Keigwin, a choreographer, artistic director and dance editor of ArtDesk, were recognized for their contributions to the arts, culture, and preservation in New York, and Mr. Keesee’s fourteen years of service on the organization’s board of directors.
