A new initiative from the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is replacing billboard advertisements with art along the edges of downtown Fort Worth. The third iteration of the project debuted in April and highlights emerging creators and student artists who had exhibitions canceled or experienced other upheavals in their practice, and images curated by Mark Bradford, whose exhibition End Papers awaits re-opening. Easily viewable in isolation, whether from a car or online at the Modern’s site, Modern Billings offers an accessible engagement with contemporary art and vital visibility for these creators.
